John Hennessey is celebrating 25 years of being in the business by building 25 ultra rare 800 hp Mustangs. An example of the 25th Anniversary Edition of Hennessey’s 804-horsepower take on the 2016 Ford Mustang has landed on internet auction site eBay, wearing a princely $105,000 price tag.
The Hennessey Performance 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 will be equipped with a supercharged 5.0- liter V-8 engine producing 804 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque. Only 25 examples will go into production. So, the customers expect this car to be one of the most sought after muscle cars of 2016. A 2.9-liter supercharger is the car's most significant upgrade with things like a carbon fiber high-flow air induction system, an upgraded fuel pump system, and an axle-back exhaust system adding to the drama of it all. We can expect the Hennessey Performance 25th Anniversary Edition Mustang to conquer a quarter mile in just 10.7 seconds hitting 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph.
The 25th anniversary model comes with Hennessey’s H10 lightweight 20-inch wheels, wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The vehicle will come with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty and a 25th anniversary certificate of authenticity from Hennessey.
